|Sarcosuchus — Wikimedia Pencil Drawing by Arthur Weasley|
Last week, our one-minute audio was about a description in the Bible of a sauropod.
This time, the one-minute audio is about something even stranger, called "leviathan" (see Job 41). It's bad enough that it was probably the sarcosuchus (a "super croc"), but this bad boy had the added features of snorting out smoke and fire! Sounds too weird to be true, yes? But "there are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your [learning]". Who could have imagined the creatures thriving in sea vents? For that matter, the bombardier beetle lends credence to the idea on a small scale. Actually, I don't think I'm sorry that this critter is extinct. Probably extinct.
Since the site I use for embedding audio is still not fixed (and they want me to upgrade???), you can download the MP3 here.
