One of the foundations of atheism is fungus-to-philosopher evolution, and when logical, scientific, and theological arguments are presented against it, they circle the wagons to fend off the truth. Although atheists claim to use reason and logic, they frequently fail at both; an evolutionary worldview is incoherent, and cannot account for science, morality, and other necessary preconditions of intelligibility. If we're just bundles of matter responding to our inner chemistry, there is nothing wrong when one bundle eliminates another bundle if it helps the first bundle's ability to thrive. That would be a logical conclusion to Darwinism. Indeed, they have no consistent moral compass when they say that something is  wrong,  they are borrowing from the Christian worldview, which  can  make sense of morality. The same with science. Part of the purpose of this site and The Question Evolution Project is to equip believers to give a strong apologetic for our faith (1 Peter 3:15-16), and to avoid being deceived by false teachers. Christians have to contend with people who are hostile to biblical truth because it goes against their natural condition, and are offended by the gospel message (1 Corinthians 2:14, John 8:44, 2 Corinthians 4:4, 1 John 5:19). Add to this that biblical creationists not only show that minerals-to-microbiologist evolution is unscientific, but also show how science supports Scripture, then anti-creationists really get on the prod. The lecture series is a mite longer than I usually share, what with being sixteen parts and all. But I reckoned it was important. by Cowboy Bob Sorensen Theistic Evolutionists and other long-age compromisers have claimed that biblical creationists are distorting the gospel message and being harmful to the overall health and unity of the church as a whole. Why? Because we believe that the Bible means what it says, even back in Genesis 1, and don't cotton to adding to God's Word (Prov. 30:6). People have come to faith in Christ through biblical creation ministries, and I reckon one reason is that we don't compromise on the authority of the Bible. They, however, are trying to make God more attractive by elevating atheistic interpretations of evidence to the magisterial position, and telling God what he said and meant. When I was younger, I accepted Theistic Evolution ("TE"): Just go along with the evolutionist crowd and slap God's name on it as a kind of blessing. That way, I had everything covered. But I had no real knowledge of science nor theology. Once I started learning, it did not take me long to realize that TE meant doing violence to the teachings of the Bible. Today, I notice compromisers getting praise and support from atheists. And why not? Atheists necessarily believe in evolution , and both agree that the Bible is not authoritative and does not mean what it says, just that TEs agree with this a bit less than atheists. I have seen positions held by biblical compromisers like Biologos , James McGrath ,  David Montgomery and others applauded by atheists.
