Gem Crystals Grow Very Rapidly

Image
Using uniformitarian (slow and gradual) assumptions, secular geologists have long believed that crystals cool and form over very long periods of time. There were still questions about what was actually observed that went unanswered. New research caused serious problems for their belief system. We have seen that in several cases, their research was inconvenient for one consensus or another. In this case, it was determined that crystals can grow in a fraction of the time that was previously believed. We can also see that the results are in keeping with creation science Genesis Flood models and recent creation. Today, we have two articles on this subject. The first one is longer and more technical, and the second is easier for people like this child to understand. Let's rock! Crystal size is tr

Toumai Man: Another Evolutionary Ancestor Discarded

Image
We often see the hands at the Darwin Ranch getting all excited about the latest evolutionary discovery, then the sensationalistic press makes a monolith out of it. But those monoliths disappear and become footnotes in the history of evolutionary fake news. This is happening with "Toumai man". Credit: Flickr / Tim Evanson  ( CC BY-SA 2.0 ) "We didn't evolve from apes", but our "ancestors" sure looked like them! At least the modeler did not give the critter whites in the eyes. When secularists conduct incomplete research or even suppress important information, their alleged evidence for evolution, the Big Bang, and other things fade away upon further examination. Sometimes it happens rather quickly (like the "proof" of the Big Bang inflation and gravitational waves ), and other instances take a few years — even when there is reasonable doubt at the onset. Something I advise in many cases is to take a "wait and see" approach. After all

Carbon, Cells, and the Origin of Life

Image
Even Rusty Swingset, the ramrod at the Darwin Ranch (up yonder near Deception Pass), is a mite embarrassed at the goings-on in the cellar of the main house. They know full well that the origin of life is impossible through their machinations, but those jaspers keep on a-trying. Micro-algae cells credit: CSIRO ( CC BY 3.0 ) "But Cowboy Bob, the origin of life has nothing to do with evolution!" That's an old lie that gets repeated by village atheists, but apparently knowledgeable evolutionists didn't get the telegram. As far as the origin of life (chemical evolution) is concerned, the lack of logic and scientific thinking are profound. Even back with the failed Miller-Urey experiment where an apparatus was based on assumptions concocted a means to conjure up some amino acids, Darwinists have believed that life could be formed by time, chance, and random processes. In the first place, that experiment did not produce anything useful. Second, it was intelligently designe

Examining the Religion of Evolutionism

Image
by Cowboy Bob Sorensen When the possibility that evolution is a religion comes up for discussion, the hands at the Darwin Ranch get down on all fours, arch their backs, and hiss. Their anger and resentment are not motivated by reality. Thanks to Why?Outreach for the background image If you want to get those owlhoots really upset and watch the hair on the backs of their necks bristle, mention that evolutionism is a religion in the same way as atheism . Misotheists and Darwin's disciples are correct when they point out that neither atheism nor evolution worship a deity, but they conveniently deny only the first definition of religion and pretend the others do not exist. There are non-theistic religions, including forms of Buddhism, Charvaka Hinduism (very close to Epicureanism, whose followers were debated by Paul the Apostle in Acts 17:22-31), and formal Satanic religions believe in a force, not a person. Indeed, the Jedi religion believes in the Force, which is a farce. One can pa

Stretchy Geological Ideas for Darwin

Image
It should be obvious that molecules-to-mineralogist evolution and deep-time geology are not observable science. That does not stop people committed to the narrative of atheistic naturalism from speculating about the distant past and referring to their pronouncements about the distant past as science. Credit: Flickr / Mike Fernwood  ( CC BY-SA 2.0 ) As discussed previously, evolution is malleable so that it explains everything. Which means it actually explains nothing. Evolution's partner in villainy is secular geology. This, too, can be stretched and bent to give the illusion of  scientific explanations. Mountains can spring up faster than they thought. Aside from the fact that a major biblical creation science model is catastrophic plate tectonics  that involves rapid uplifting of landforms, the secular researchers discussed in the link below made assertions and told stories based on their naturalistic worldview, not from science. Creation science models of the Genesis Flood are f

More Archaeological Thrills on Potbelly Hill

Image
A few years ago, we looked at how Potbelly Hill (the Turkish name of Göbekli Tepe probably sounds more interesting) was mostly ignored by archaeologists until  Klaus Schmidt noticed some interesting things . This site has become even more interesting lately. Göbekli Tepe image credit: Flickr / tonynetone  ( CC BY 2.0 ) Remember, believers in universal common ancestor evolution cannot accept the biblical narrative that people were created to be intelligent from the get-go, so ancient sites and artifacts continually surprise them because evolution . This site is much older than the fascinating Stonehenge, and there are mathematical principles at work that "primitive" people "shouldn't" know. Once again, archaeology supports the Bible. The indications are there that post-Flood people designed this location instead of just haphazardly building things. Since its discovery in 1995 in south eastern Turkey, the Göbekli Tepe complex has been a hotbed of archaeolog

Angry Birds of Evolution?

Image
My wife likes to feed the birds, hanging various feeders up on the patio as well as throwing peanuts to blue jays, red-bellied woodpeckers, and others. Sometimes they get on the prod, scrapping with their own kind. The hands at the Darwin Ranch commenced to studying testosterone and sensitivity. Junco image cropped from Unsplash / John Duncan This research was done on New World juncos, distant relatives of sparrows. These chirpers would get aggressive at times, which included singing songs that meant, "This patch of land ain't big enough for the two of us, old son". They also arbitrarily (read: statement of faith, not science) that testosterone is important to evolution. Not hardly! While hormones do influence behavior, there is not much going for the idea that testosterone is married up with aggression. Gene expression and sensitivity were built into living things by the Master Engineer. Allegedly angry birds are not the products of evolution, and there is no indication
