There are times when someone is confronted by an accuser, and after giving responses, is told, "You have an answer to everything!" That remark is often sarcastic because some people make things up and give ridiculous excuses. (Of course, the accuser may not want to accept legitimate replies.) Evolution has answers.
It is interesting that the puny god of evolution is often treated as a powerful being with the ability to make decisions. A good part of the way evolution explains what is observed is from practiced storytelling, especially those in science fields.
Life and history (including imagined history) are interpreted through Darwin spectacles. Such a worldview only lets someone see evolution at every turn.
There were some "science facts" videos I was watching about biology, but had to leave them in the dust. Some interesting material that was marred by evolutionary stories about the unobserved past, such as "our caveman days" and why something evolved. It sounded authoritative in each case, but both were based on speculation; both were made-up "facts." But claiming evolution makes stuff all sciency.
Why are men aggressive? Evolution. Why are they compliant with women? Evolution. Wait, these and other things are contradictory. That's an indicator that circular reasoning is involved in addition to appealing to authority and popular appeal. Evolution is not just a biological thing. They have geologic, cosmic, and other areas that are called evolution — which implies Papa Darwin was right. Things change, develop, modify, and all that good stuff. Calling it evolution is deceptive.
Of course, evolution is rooted in materialism. It
must appear to have an answer to practically everything, and do so
without the Creator. Materialism and naturalism supporters claim to believe only matter exists. Such views are unlivable because otherwise, logic, altruism, compassion, mathematics, and
science itself cannot exist. Things of a spiritual or non-material nature are not real to them if they are consistent in their worldview. They are not. These people need to cowboy up and repent to Jesus Christ.
It is very difficult to get through a degree in biology without ending up believing Darwin’s account of the history of life. That is because the evidence for it seems to be everywhere. It’s not a single spectacular proof or a brilliant theoretical argument — it’s a cumulation of a thousand little things that seem to point to the theory. One day, you’re learning why frogs evolved hearts with two atria instead of one; the next day, you’re learning why the beaks of birds on one island differ from the beaks of birds on another. Evolution just explains so much about the world around us.
