Theistic Evolutionists Misrepresenting Young-Earth Geology

Something atheists and other evolutionists like to do is use religious people in their attacks on creation, and especially the Genesis Flood. I had someone appeal to the Pope on evolution (even though the Catholic Church does not have evolution as an official dogma). He was attempting to manipulate me through appeal to the wrong wrong authority — I reject that. In addition, it is not uncommon for theistic evolutionists to join with atheists on social(ist) media to demonize biblical creationists. Hail Darwin, blessed be! United in hate.

There are some theological concerns in these posts, but the science and logical fallacies are helpful to creationists when encountering an atheist or TE who says Grand Canyon displays evidence of an old earth. A book and an article by TEs at BioLogos attack biblical creationists, and their flaws are exposed.

Again I ask: Why is it so important to professing Christians to push creationists into accepting atheistic interpretations of empirical data? It is one thing to have differing opinions on data, but theologians supporting BioLogos are actually approving of blatant misrepresentation and even outright lying by professing Christian geologists promoting deep time and uniformitarianism.

Also, are they comfortable with calling Jesus, Paul, Peter, and others liars about the Genesis Flood? To be blunt, I lack belief that they accept the God of the Bible, having some sort of Deist or Gnostic worldview, and they need to repent.

There are three articles linked below. The second and third have some rather detailed geological material, but even if people do not have a strong background in geology, it may prove useful to save the links for reference. Claims by theistic evolutionists and secular geologists against young-earth Flood geology are soundly refuted.
In June 2016, an article was posted on the BioLogos website (which promotes old-earth evolutionary “creation”) titled, “Flood Geology and the Grand Canyon: What Does the Evidence Really Say?” Written by four professing Christian scientists, including three geologists, the article purports to dissect and respond succinctly against biblical and geological evidence for the global flood cataclysm as recorded in Genesis 6–8 and assembled and published by creationist geologists.

It is in your best interests to read the rest at "Responding to BioLogos’ Tactics on Their Opposition to Young-Earth Flood Geology." Following this is "Two Grand Canyon Evidences that Confirm the Bible," and then "Three More Grand Canyon Evidences that Confirm God’s Word." You'll thank me later.
