The Giza Underground City Conspiracy

It seems that when one conspiracy theory runs out of steam, another takes its place. The "conspiracy" part often means that the item in question is doubted by many, so there is a conspiracy to suppress it. Theory? Codswallop!

The Pyramids of Giza have fascinated people for thousands of years. Pyramids are occasionally given mystical significance. In the 1970s, there was a belief that items in pyramid shapes produced a field that could keep blades sharp, preserve food, and more. Now it is said that there is a city hidden under Giza.

There is a conspiracy theory about the Pyramids of Giza. Supposedly, satellites have found massive underground structures. This involves poor science.

Researchers claim that satellite technologies made it possible for them to find images of structures beneath the Pyramids. Other scientists are skeptical, and they have valid reasons. One is that the results cannot be replicated. Also, instead of going through the usual processes to announce discoveries, these researchers had a press conference on YouTube.

Some of the "theories" about this include ancient aliens, lost civilizations, and technology that existed before the Genesis Flood. That last item can be eliminated because the Flood would have destroyed the Pyramids and other details related to Flood geology. Also, biblical creationists reject the ages assigned to these things. Secular interpretations of Egyptian history are overinflated as well. As for the underground structures, there is no conspiracy. Just doubt about the methods and conclusions.
On March 22, 2025, a group of Italian researchers—Corrado Malanga (University of Pisa), Filippo Biondi (University of Strathclyde, Glasgow), Armando Mei (explorer), and Nicole Ciccolo (head of communications)—presented, “The Khafre Research Project SAR Technology” to an audience of 1,000 delegates and live streamed as a lengthy press conference on YouTube. Here, information was presented for the first time that could shake up everything known about ancient Egypt—if proven true. The team contend certain satellite technologies combined with AI enabled them to visualize massive structures beneath the Pyramids.
