Dinosaur Bones Give Up DNA
Despite the railings of many atheists and other believers in Darwin's story, biblical creationists do indeed accept — and use — science. To put science as an ultimate authority, including over morality, is scientism. We do not accept that.
One of their tenets of faith is that "science is self-correcting." Great. Except that science is not an entity. Scientists make mistakes that are often corrected. Unfortunately, many people do not get the memo. Spinach as a powerhouse of iron, cracking the knuckles causes arthritis — these and more debunked ideas are still believed by some folks.
Another worn adage is to "follow where the evidence leads." The story is that dinosaurs died out before birds evolved, but evidence shows that they existed at the same time. There's lies in them thar museums. When soft tissues were found in dinosaurs, evolutionists scoffed. Indeed, some sidewinders even today claim that soft tissues don't exist, it's a lie told by biblical creationists!

Not only has the evidence of dinosaur soft tissues been accumulating, there are other related problems for adherents of scientism. DNA has been found in dinosaur bones. Also, bone cells and proteins. Anti-creationists can fuss and make unscientific rescuing devices all they want, but they are not following where the evidence "leads" (again, as if it were an entity). It is not about evidence at all, but rather, about clinging to a deep time worldview. The truth is that dinosaurs could not have died out millions of Darwin years ago. Yippie ky yay, secularists!
For the last 15 years, Dr Mary Schweitzer has been rocking the evolutionary/uniformitarian world with discoveries of soft tissue in dinosaur bones. These discoveries have included blood cells, blood vessels, and proteins like collagen. But under measured rates of decomposition, they could not have lasted for the presumed 65 million years (Ma) since dino extinction, even if they had been kept at freezing point (never mind the much warmer climate proposed for the dinosaurs).
