Artifacts Depicting Dinosaurs? Slow Down!
On this site alone, many instances of Darwin's disciples galloping off with new discoveries that allegedly demonstrate evolution are displayed. Evolutionists ignore possible alternative explanationsfor data, important facts are neglected, bad logic is used, and more. Unfortunately, some Christians use the same poor thinking.
Some of it is based on dramatic claims, such as drilling into Hell itself. The gospel is true, we do not need to "wow" people into believing it — especially when we are being gullible and not checking the material. There are several artifacts said to depict dinosaurs that are false.

Creationists have a prairie schooner-full of scientific evidence for the young earth. That includes how dinosaurs did not go extinct millions of Darwin years ago. Other ministries and I believe that we should stay with the strongest evidence and either leave the dubious items out altogether, or be cautious with them.
Creationists have accumulated dozens of examples of ancient artifacts depicting creatures which, it has been argued, strongly resemble dinosaurs and other extinct reptiles like pterosaurs and plesiosaurs. These have been put forward as evidence that people in historical times—even up to just a few centuries ago—must have lived alongside dinosaurs, because they incorporated observational knowledge of these animals into their paintings, carvings, mosaics, and tapestries.
However, further investigation has revealed that quite a few of these supposed dinosaurs were, in fact, misidentifications. Sadly, critics of the creationist movement have done most of the legwork exposing these errors, to the embarrassment of those who have promoted them uncritically. . . . In this article, I will critically examine twelve commonly cited examples and argue that these artifacts do not actually depict dinosaurs.
To read the entire article, move on over to "Dinosaurs on ancient artifacts? A reappraisal of twelve examples." The video below shows how people have seen what they want to see, not doing further research that would give them the sads.
