The Three Sisters and Refuting Atheist Refutations

It is interesting to see articles and videos about various geological features, many of which are found in the formerly United States. Down 'Straya way, there are also some impressive formations. Consider the Three Sisters in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales.

This popular tourist attraction presents strong evidence for the Genesis Flood, and Dr. Tasman Walker of Creation Ministries International wrote an article about it. This raised the ire of some Australian skeptics, and one wrote an article to refute him. It did not go well,

For some time, I have held the opinion that a skeptic is someone who is not convinced of something, but is willing to change his mind when persuasive evidence is presented. It seems that a skeptic today is someone who refuses to be convinced of something despite the evidence. Someone pointed out that these unyielding skeptics would more correctly be called cynics.

These skeptics (atheists) did the same old song and dance to refute Dr. Walker's article. Atheists often pose as the intellectual elite but are frequently caught in logical fallacies and blunders in science. In an article of their own, they used poisoning the well, ad hominems, straw man, and other logical fallacies. More than that, in their uniformitarian geological posturing, they ended up supporting the creation science view!
An article in the journal of the Australian Skeptics has sought to refute a creationist claim that the Three Sisters formed during Noah’s Flood. . . . it turns out that the Skeptic article enhances the creationists’ argument. For example, the article tacitly acknowledges that none of the geological environments previously proposed is workable. . . The article does not even try to refute the strong evidence provided by the shape of the landscape. The creationist case relies, not on one or two speculative resemblances, but a whole host of consistent evidences that tie in beautifully to the sequence of events involved in Noah’s Flood. The Skeptic article does nothing to diminish the creationist case, but much to strengthen it.
