When a Creationist Student is Assigned Evolution
Christian students in secular school systems are swimming upstream, and many succumb to the propaganda and lose their faith. Others have learned what and why they believe. Ideally, parents use available resources, and kids are taught evolution the right way.
Creation scientists who have obtained degrees are divided about whether or not creationist students should keep their heads down about their beliefs. Some have said they had no trouble in higher education, others emphasize caution. When writing a paper about evolution, it is best to keep creation views and mentions of God out of it. This is not compromise, but rather, strategic. Logic and information that questions evolution can be used, and it may plant seeds of doubt in the minds of instructors. Indeed, it may be possible that some of those facilitators are creationists working undercover.
In addition to using critical thinking and seeing how children are indoctrinated into a secularist religion, Christian parents and children utilize good biblical creation science material to bolster knowledge. Expect it to happen that a student is assigned to write a paper on evolution. Then what?
