No Proof of Evolution on your Body

It is bad enough that believers in molecules-to-Mario evolution present incomplete and often erroneous science, but they also encourage long-refuted evolutionary dogma. On several occasions we have encountered blatant falsehoods used to prop up this atheistic myth of origins.

Everyone makes mistakes (including faulty reasoning), but to repeatedly use false information is downright deceptive. Seven years ago, a disingenuous video titled "Proof of evolution that you can find on your body" was posted, and at this writing has over 37 million views and 407 thousand "likes."

The video focuses on so-called vestigial organs (or structures) that have supposedly lost their functions during the process of evolution. Claims of vestigial things have been debunked, as we have seen regarding "junk" DNA, the Palmar Grasp Reflex in infants, how the famous appendix is actually important, and more. One way to dodge the refutations of evolutionary beliefs is to redefine vestigial, as discussed in the first part of this article. If it's functional or repurposed, it's not vestigial, old son.

It seems that it's okay to use logical fallacies. The propaganda video is replete with assuming evolution to prove evolution, the fallacy of begging the question. People don't use critical thinking, so they believe lies in a slick video. That's right, I said it! Lies. The video makers and other evolutionists are pushing material that has been refuted and make irrelevant assumptions along with their risible logic. Folks are deceived, but so what? Belief in evolution is reinforced, and that is what matters, not science. Because evolution.

The real problem is that secularists are desperate to deny the truth of God. He's the Creator, he makes the rules, and we need to find out what he has to say. Assertions in the video are refuted.
This YouTube video—as you can see below—opens by declaring the human body a museum of natural history, loaded with “parts that aren’t there because you need them, but because your animal ancestors did” (:06), and claiming, “These remnants of our deep history only make sense within the framework of evolution by natural selection” (:16). The so-called vestigial organs, or “remnants,” selected for this video are structures and reflexes that are easily visible: a tendon in the forearm, seemingly useless muscles attached to your ears, goose bumps, the tailbone you may have bumped in a fall, and a tiny baby’s strong grasp. We contend that these and all other alleged anatomical footprints of our supposed evolutionary past are best understood as footprints of our wise Creator’s handiwork.
